Sony HDC-P50 is light and compact POV system camera features the world’s first 2/3-inch 4K global shutter three CMOS sensor system that delivers exceptional image with impressive sensitivity and wide dynamic range.
HDC-P50 can directly output remarkably crisp, clear 4K HDR images directly from the camera head with no need for a separate processor unit. The HDC-P50 features the world’s first 2/3-inch 4K CMOS sensor with global shutter technology that eliminates the ‘jello effect’ and banding noise. This next-generation imager captures pristine 4K images with exceptionally low noise, impressive sensitivity and high dynamic range, while achieving the ITU-R BT.2020 broadcast standard widened colour space.
Thanks to its size this Sony POV camera can be used in wide range of situations – such as in combination with a camera stabiliser, in handheld mode, during wireless shooting or while filming aerial footage from a helicopter.
The HDC-P50 complements the market-leading Sony HDC-4300 4K camera channel. With its B4 mount, this POV camera is compatible with a wide range of 4K lenses, including the Canon CJ12 or CJ20, or Fujinon UA14 or UA22.
