The Sony HDC-P43 gives you superb 4K, HD and super slow motion imaging in a lightweight, highly adaptable POV camera.
As more and more live productions begin to move to 4K, the Sony HDC-P43 is likely to become a key weapon in your arsenal. It combines the superb imaging capability of Sony’s flagship HDC-4300 camera channel with a compact form factor, allowing for maximum flexibility of use.
Simple integration into your 4K workflow
The HDC-P43 complements the market-leading Sony HDC-4300 4K camera channel. Indeed it shares the same three 2/3” 4K sensor block as its cousin. Being from the highly popular HDC range, the P43 will be immediately familiar to operators. This makes for seamless integration into your live production set-up.
An ideal fixed-position 4K camera
The HDC-P43 particularly lends itself to use on a fixed camera position, or on a crane rig. It can be used in a multi-camera set-up or in isolation. Because of its compact size, it is ideal for a wide range of applications and positions in live sports production or live events production.
High frame rate options
The HDC-P43 is fully compatible with the Sony BPU-4000 baseband processor unit, meaning you can also take advantage of an optional high frame rate upgrade. This enables 2x slow motion in 4K and up to 8x in HD. For ultra-high frame rate slow motion in 4K, Sony also offers the HDC-4800, a dedicated slow motion camera channel capable of 8x slow motion in UHD (16x in HD).
Unrivalled image quality with 4K lenses
With its B4 mount, the Sony HDC-P43 is compatible with a wide range of 4K lenses, including the Canon CJ12 or CJ20, or Fujinon UA14 or UA22.
A range of 4K monitoring options are also available, including the Canon DP-V2410 24″ monitor and the Sony BVM-X300 30″ 4K monitor, helping you get the most out of your 4K camera and lenses.
