The Sony HDCU-1500 is the camera control unit for the popular HDC-1500 HD camera channel.
At 3U, half-rack width, it’s a great CCU for when rack space is at a premium, for instance in small OB vans. Its size makes it – in tandem with the HDC-1500 – an ideal solution when portability and space-saving is crucial.
SD down-converter built in
The CCU includes a built-in down-converter, meaning you can output HD-SDI and SD-SDI simultaneously, for productions that demand it.
1,800m cable runs without loss of quality
Picture quality is maintained across cable runs of up to 1,800m, thanks to the HDCU-1500’s digital optical fibre transmission system. An HDCU-1500 CCU is included with each complete HDC-1500 channel you hire. Or you can also hire it as an individual item if you require.
