Full-Frame 6K sensor with Fast Hybrid Auto Focus
Sony PXW-FX9 camcorder features oversampled full-frame 6K sensor allows to capture 4K images with stunning cinematic depth of field. 15+ stops of dynamic range allow to capture every shadow detail, specular highlight and an immaculate colour palette.
Dual Base ISO consists of base sensitivity of ISO 800 and secondary ISO 4000. ISO 800 would provide optimal dynamic range for typical documentary applications such as shooting outside or in brightly lit interiors. A secondary High Base sensitivity of ISO 4000 exceeds expectations in low light conditions such as early morning and evening shoots while maintaining superb image quality.
Remarkable 15+ stops of dynamic range
Sony PXW-FX9 offers phenomenal 15+ stops of dynamic range allowing for creative freedom in colour grading and post production.
Selectable frame rates in both full-frame & Super 35
PX9 allows user to shoot from 1fps all the way up to 180fps* for beautifully looking fast and slow-motion footage. Sony PXW-FX9 currently supports up to 120fps with ver 1.0, future firmware release will allow this camera to shoot in Full-HD 180fps.
