Having spent four years overseeing the strategic growth of the company’s broadcast equipment sales and systems integration operations, Ben now has oversight of all divisions in ES Group. He shapes the company’s commercial strategy, identifying how to monetise innovation and form complementary services that enable us to implement bespoke, pioneering end-to-end broadcast solutions.
He is responsible for the excellent connections ES Broadcast enjoys with the world’s foremost suppliers – all large-scale purchases are negotiated by Ben and it is the personal relationships he has nurtured with vendors that makes the difference to the prices ES Broadcast is able to achieve. Within ES Group, he has assembled an industry-leading team of experts whose blend of knowledge and experience is ideally suited to delivering broadcast solutions to our clients.
Ben Murphy’s strengths lie in his ability to bring clarity to complex briefs through innovative problem-solving and an in-depth technical knowledge of a wide array of broadcast equipment – coupled with a constant thirst to learn about new innovations that started with a degree in Media Technology some two decades ago. His passion for the industry means he excels at driving the process that enables ES Group to scope, win and deliver the most complex and prestigious of projects – playing a key role in gaining supply contracts for the largest global sporting events and major leagues.
