Jacob graduated from Southampton Solent University in 2016 having studied a degree in sound engineering., From there he immediately joined a major UK broadcast systems integrator as a proposal engineer before progressing to the project delivery team.
Before joining ES Broadcast, Jacob worked on a variety of delivery projects , primarily focusing on delivering large OB trucks and fixed installations. This included exposure to projects with major clients including ETV in South Africa, CNN, the Royal Opera House and Media City of Malaysia.
Since joining ES Broadcast, Jacob Cooper has primarily been responsible for the design, project management, testing and delivery of turnkey PPU (portable production unit) systems. Jacob has led engagement with clients such as Loop and Supponor to understand their precise needs, enabling the systems integration team to deliver tailor-made mobile broadcast solutions for use in TV production and at live events. Such has been the demand for ES Broadcast’s innovative PPU deployments, Jacob has taken on responsibility for streamlining and standardising the company’s delivery practices for these solutions. This allows us to deliver solutions in a more streamlined and therefore cost-effective way, and to meet the increased demand in the marketplace.
Aside from the delivery of PPU’s, Jacob’s background and considerable experience working on large-scale fixed installations, both from a design and configuration standpoint, mean that he brings an abundance of expertise to our systems integration division. With exposure working on a variety of projects with different engineers, wiremen and across all types of manufacturer equipment, Jacob is highly adept at collaborating with clients to conceive, plan and deliver your new broadcast solution.
