Joel Cullen boasts an array of broadcast and media industry experience spanning the best part of 20 years. He spent some 12 years in media technician and channel/network management roles for Viacom and Babcock International, and a further seven years in systems architect/engineer roles for broadcast systems integrators.

Understanding your needs to design the solution you need

Joel Cullen is adept at helping to define client requirements and translating these into workflow designs that deliver real-world benefits for users. He has an abundance of experience in play-out automation and media asset management (MAM) solutions. And he has delivered many systems integration projects from design to deployment, across a range of broadcast applications – from OB trucks and SNG systems to control rooms and play-out and post production facilities.

Further expertise in satellite distribution and audio engineering

Having worked in network delivery services, Joel also has a great knowledge of satellite distribution as well as OTT delivery. His passion for sound and audio, meanwhile – he holds a diploma in audio engineering – adds yet another string to his broadcast bow.

Joel has responsibility for creating and maintaining system design documents for your project, and for managing the install teams right the way through to project completion. On completion, he oversees all system testing, configuration and commissioning, before overseeing handover to you, the client.
