Refurbished in 2021, this mobile LED screen truck is designed to display live images directly from six HD camera inputs to the roof-mounted screen. It is perfect for use on live events such as music concerts, sports and public events.

The truck boasts a brand-new 3.5m x 1.5m LED screen with 4.91mm pixel pitch which was fitted in 2021. Housed inside the truck for transport, the screen rises out of the vehicle to the roof, ready for use. New furniture was also installed at the same time as the screen upgrade.

LED screen truck designed for live sports and concerts

In the field of sports, it is ideal for finish-line coverage of horse racing, skiing, cycling and similar events. It can also be used as a companion screen for live concerts, or to relay images of an interior event such as a wedding, conference or speech to external crowds. By taking a feed from another vehicle, it could be used as part of a live display set-up for larger events. And the truck’s compact size provides added flexibility for use in confined spaces.

Standalone operation or integration with larger broadcast set-up

The truck is designed either to operate as a standalone unit, or to be integrated into a larger broadcast set-up. Content can be fed directly from the trucks six HD camera channels, which can be switched independently via a six-channel Datavideo SE-1200MU HD vision mixer and RMC-260 control panel. Alternatively, the truck can accept an output feed from another OB unit and display this on its LED screen.

For standalone operation, the LED screen truck has a small production gallery equipped with six 24-inch Samsung monitors and Clearcom two-channel talkback as well as the aforementioned Datavideo switcher. The vehicle also includes its own public address/loudspeaker system with a Soundcraft ui24 audio mixer and Audiophony LIVEtouch20 console.

NB The vehicle is branded with a full vinyl wrap, as shown in the pictures, which would require replacement or repainting. RCP’s shown on the photos are only included when purchased with an additional cameras.
