Tim Grant previously spent several years with BAMTech Media as vice-president for technical facilities. There, he was responsible for leading tech ops and infrastructure integration teams in designing, building and managing all physical-layer infrastructure for mission-critical data centers, transmission, network, and broadcast operation centers, and corporate, social media, and specialty office-type facilities.
Sports have been a focal point of Tim Grant’s career. For more than a decade, he served as vice-president of technical facilities for Major League Baseball, while he also spent half a dozen years as a technical engineer at Chicago’s United Center – home to legendary NBA team the Bulls and six-time winners of hockey’s Stanley Cup, the Blackhawks. While running his own technical consultancy and project management firm, Tim again collaborated with MLB on a project to upgrade its instant replay review system, as well as post production and legacy cable decommissioning projects.
He also leveraged his considerable experience of designing and managing data centers to deliver a solution for Digital Ocean, a leading Cloud computing provider.
As engineering manager Tim Grant heads up our team of project delivery engineers in North America. As well as drawing on over two decades of experience specializing in technical project management, he is able to call on a strong working relationship with Group CTO Jonathan Lyth and Group Projects Director Chris Williams.
